    Arrive at Srinagar. Spend the afternoon in a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake. Visit Open Lake, Lotus Lake, Meena Bazar Floating Market, taste some local street food, shop for souvenirs and local handicrafts at Lal Chowk.

  2. Explore Sonmarg.

    Day trip to Sonmarg. Horse / pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier. if time permits, visit Kheer Bhavani temple on the way back to Srinagar.

    Check-out from Srinagar hotel and visit Doodhpathri, travel to Gulmarg. Check-in to Gulmarg hotel. Walk around Gulmarg town.

    Gandola ride to Apharwat Peak (Phase 1 and Phase 2) in Gulmarg. Return to Srinagar by evening.

    Visit Shankaracharya Temple, Four Mughal Gardens (Chashma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat bagh, Shalimar bagh), Hazrat Bal Dargah, Jamia Masjid, Shikara ride in Dal Lake to visit the Char Chinar Island. Go on a gastronomical journey along the streets of Srinagar for some deeply satiating street foods. Enjoy Kashmiri wazwan for lunch or dinner.

    Check-out from Srinagar hotel and visit Yusmarg and Charar-e-Sharif. Then travel to Pahalgam.

    Pahalgam to Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, Aru Valley and Baisaran.

  8. Pahalgam to Srinagar.

    Visit Pahalgam Golf Course. Then travel from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On the way, visit: Apple Orchard, Martand Sun Temple, Awantipora ruins, Cricket bat factory and Kesar shops of Pampore.

    Free day till check-out and then proceed for airport for return journey.

Day 1

Srinagar - Dal Lake, Meena Bazar Floating market, Boulevard road.
The Dal Lake is the heart of Srinagar city. In fact, it provides livelihood to a large percentage of the locals – be it cultivating lotus plants, fishing, renting rooms of their houseboats, offering a Shikara (a small wooden boat) ride in the lake, or selling their wares in small boats or from their shops in the Meena Bazar Floating market, an array of shops, where locals sell their wares. You can either pass by, or stop at any of the shops to buy locally manufactured garments, shawls, woolen goods etc.

Day 2

Exploring Sonmarg – The Meadow of Gold.
Sonmarg or Sonamarg, literally meaning the Meadow of Gold in the Kashmiri language, is a picturesque hill station on the Srinagar - Leh highway. An alpine valley with green meadows, snow clad mountain ranges and the mighty Sindh river gushing by, Sonmarg is a must visit destination for every traveller in the Kashmir valley. Some of the popular places to visit from Sonmarg are Thajiwas Glacier, Baltal Valley, Zojila Pass and Zero Point.

Day 3

Reach Gulmarg via Tangmarg.
Most travellers make separate day trips to Gulmarg and Doodhpathri from Srinagar. But to make better use of time, we plan to club both the spots together from Srinagar, first you travel to Doodhpathri and then to Gulmarg on the same day and spent the night in Gulmarg.

Day 4

Exploring Gulmarg and Gondola Ride to Apharwat Peak. Goodbye Gulmarg.
The main attraction of Gulmarg is the Gondola or the Cable car ride. There are 2 phases of the ride: • The First phase is from the Gulmarg base station to Kongdori or Kungdoor (Altitude – 8,530 ft). • The Second phase is from Kongdori or Kungdoor to the top of Apharwat peak (Altitude – 13,500 ft). This ride is one of the highest in the world. Due to the height, this journey to the Aphawat is not recommended for persons with cardiac ailments. Return to Srinagar by evening.

Day 5

Srinagar local sightseeing.
One day is enough to visit the important places of the city like, Shankaracharya Temple, Four Mughal Gardens (Chashme Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Hazrat Bal Dargah and Jamia Masjid. On the way to Nishat Bagh, stop at Ghat 23, the nearest to the Char Chinar Island, a square shaped island in the middle of the Dal Lake, with one Chinar tree at each of its Four (i.e. Char) corners. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride in the Dal Lake.

Day 6

Srinagar to Yusmarg to Pahalgam.
Save the day for your rendezvous with Srinagar at it's best self. Dig into the famous street foods of Srinagar like traditional breads bakharkhani, telvur, lavas or tsot from locak bakwry or khandur. Have them with flavouful kehwa or salty nun chai or sheer chai.

Goodbye to Pahalgam and start your journey towards Srinagar.
Visit Pahalgam Golf Course. Then travel from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On the way, visit: Apple Orchard, Martand Sun Temple, Awantipora ruins, Cricket bat factory and Kesar shops of Pampore. Stop on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway at Pampore, the best Kehwa tea is available at the Tea shop beside the saffron shop of Noor Mohd Bhat.
