Pokhriabong - a dreamer's paradise

Lying just beside the Turzum Tea Estate - one of the best First Flush Darjeeling Teas, a small beautiful, lesser known village known as Pokhriabong is sure to surprise you with it's abundant greeneries, mist and foggy weather and beautiful unpretentious people.

Owned and run by Mr. Rai and his family, this small and cozy, rustic yet comfortable homestay gives you a great opportunity to stay in a local home in a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy traditional local food that are prepared from the organic produce of the villages. And as you stay with the families, you will get a chance to understand the local culture and life of people in this part of the world.

The four wooden cottages are well planned at four corners of the building so as to provide ample space and privacy.

The cosy lounge, complete with a fireplace, sumptuous food and the ever smiling host with their warm hospitality untarnished by modernity, surely will make your stay a sweet memory to cherish.

Pokhriabong also has a Rhododendron Winery, if you are really interested to get a taste of it.
